After the brake friction plate is soaked, sediment is easy to accumulate on the surface, which affects the braking capacity. It shall be checked and washed with a large amount of clean water before reuse.

Automatic adjusting arm

First mark the current clearance position of the self-adjusting arm, and then set the adjustment clearance to the maximum. The vehicle presses the brake for many times to see whether the clearance of the self-adjusting arm can return to the original marked position. If so, it indicates that the self-adjusting arm operates normally.

Disc brake

The disc brake needs to check whether there is water in the connection position between the air chamber push rod and the brake caliper.

Brake chamber

The exhaust hole of the double chamber air chamber is easy to water under the water surface. The entry of water and sand and gravel debris will lead to the blockage of the air path, and in serious cases, it will lead to the braking failure of the trailer. Check at the nearest service station as soon as possible after immersion.
